Family run, the Bamboo Guest House is located in Bijilo (close to Senegambia and only 15 Minutes from the airport).

Situated in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area the guest house has a relaxed atmosphere with a lush tropical garden where we grow a variety of native flora. We also grow our own fruit and vegetables to compliment our delicious lunch and dinner menus.

Some of the most asked questions:-

1) Is there an Internet Connection in the hotel?

Answer - As yet we do not have a connection though this is planned for in the future. There is however many Internet Cafes with good reliable connections.

2) Do you serve breakfast?

Answer - Yes, we serve a continental breakfast which is included in the room price.

3) Do you have a laundry service?

Answer - Yes, our cleaning staff will be happy to take care of any washing during your stay (there is a small additional charge).

4) Do you have a swimming pool?

Answer - No, however after a short walk, you reach the nicest, natural pool - the Atlantic Ocean.

5) Are ther televisions in the rooms?

Answer - Only our Master Suite is equiped with a television. There is however, a communal television situated in the reception area.

6) Do we have use of a kitchen?

Answer - Yes you can have access to the kitchen at any time for small cooking. (boiling eggs or water and making packed lunches etc.

7) Do you serve Dinner/Lunch in the guest house?

Answer - Yes this can be arranged with prior notice though we do recommend our Beach Bar & Restaurant, only 7 minutes walk.

8) What about transport?

Answer - The Gambia has a very efficient taxi sevice. Also, we do offer a car rental service.
